Two fixtures have been pushed back from Saturday to Sunday in a bid to beat the weather with Airdrie’s tie against Edinburgh City now being played nearly 24 hours later in a bid to let the Penny Cars Stadium pitch thaw out while Livingston’s Scottish Premiership clash against Ross County will also be played on Sunday. Kelty Hearts’ home tie against Stranraer has been switched to Stark’s Park and now goes ahead at 6pm. Among the postponed cup ties is Camelon's first-round match against Brora Rangers, which has already been called off six times after being abandoned at half-time on Boxing Day. The East of Scotland side and the Highland League outfit will attempt to play on Monday January 11 with the winners facing Hearts in the second round. Round two ties that fell victim to the weather now due to be played on Tuesday January 12 are Arbroath v Falkirk; Buckie Thistle v Inverness CT; Dumbarton v Huntly; Elgin v Ayr United; Formartine v Annan; Morton v Dunfermline; Keith v Clyde; Partick Thistle v Cowdenbeath; Peterhead v Stenhousemuir, and Stirling Albion against Raith Rovers. Nairn County’s home tie against Montrose has been rescheduled for Wednesday January 13. Fraserburgh’s home tie against Banks O’Dee got the go ahead early on Saturday morning while Forfar’s Station Park passed a pitch inspection to allow their match against Linlithgow Rose to take place. The rescheduling of the postponed matches means five league fixtures planned for midweek have had to be postponed to allow the cup games to be played.
